I was hoping that the rear-camera, at least the RGB one will come with an optical image stabilization (OIS). Apparently the Honor 9 rear-facing camera, none of the two, comes with an optical image stabilization (OIS). This is a very important features in my opinion, because it can help the camera take much better photos in low-light performance. Of course large sensor pixels and a fast aperture lens is also very important, but looks at the Honor 9 specs, it has a f/2.2 aperture lenses for its dual rear-facing cameras.
The only thing that can really make it work is the pixel-binning technology and the fact that it comes with a monochrome sensor that its data can be used to improve the low-light performance of the camera. So I still want to see some honor 9 sample pictures before coming to any conclusion, but definitely not having OIS is not a good sign.
