OIS for the rear camera

The iPad Pro 10.5 has a rear camera with an Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which improved the low-light performance by allowing the camera to capture photos with slower shutter speeds while still maintaining a sharp image when shooting handheld.

The Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch now comes with 4GB of RAM, this is twice the amount offered by the last year's iPad Pro 9.7-inch version. This helps support the advanced iPad-only multi-tasking capability like running apps side by side.

Lacks a microSD card slot

Not surprisingly, the new iPad Pro 10.5-inch lacks a microSD slot, so you need to rely on the built-in memory to store your apps, games and other type of data and multimedia files, so it's kind of limiting in a way.

Most tablets nowadays have 60Hz display refresh rate, Apple doubled that to a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz. Scrolling content will appear much smoother and feel more responsive than ever before. It will work better with Apple Pencil for drawing and writing applications due to the very low...

60% brighter display compared to previous generation

The Apple iPad Pro 10.5-inch features a 600 nits brightness display, which Apple say it's 60% brighter than previous generation displays of last year's iPads. This significantly improves outdoor visibility and let you enjoy your content in all of its glory.

Class-leading ultralow reflectivity

The iPad Pro 10.5-inch features an ultra-low reflective display, which means that the content will be more visible when using around natural and artificial lighting of any source, because the screen projects less of the light and therefore makes the content more visible to your eyes.

Very slim body (6.1mm thick)

Apple always surprised me how slim it can make its iPad devices. The new 10.5-inch iPad Pro 2 is only 6.1mm thick, quite astonishing considering all the advanced technologies it hosts within it.

We already know that Apple is always striving to improve the design of the iPad from year to year. The new iPad Pro 10.5-inch now look better than ever, design wise. One of my favorite improvement is that it now has even slimmer side bezels. This means that the impact of the larger screen on the...

The iPad Pro 10.5" model now comes with significantly slimmer bezels, allowing Apple to introduce a larger display but still maintain a small size. It's just 1.6cm taller and 4.6mm wider than the iPad 9.7-inch model from last year.

No water-resistant protection

I thought that this year (2017) the new iPads will come with water-resistant protection, like the iPhones, but nope. It would be really great to know that you precious iPad Pro tablet is protected against water in case you accidentally spill water or coffee on it.

USB 3.0 for very fast data transfer speed

The new iPAd Pro 10.5-inch supports the USB 3.0 with an adapter obviously. So you can connect a USB camera adapter or SD card reader and transfer your digital assets at very fast speeds. This is very important for people working with lots of multimedia files, especially 4K videos.

Doesn't come with a standard USB connector

I hate using adapters and I wait for the day that Apple will align itself with the USB-C standard that most of the future devices from now on will come up with. For me it's just a burden to have this proprietary lightning connector with its VERY EXPENSIVE accessories.

Expensive (but worth it)

The iPad Pro 10.5-inch starts from $649. It's an expensive device, but you get what you paid for. If you are willing to play that price, you are going to enjoy the best tablet experience on this planet, so pricey, but worth every cent.
