Can 4K videos with both back cameras

The Oppo R11 has dual-camera setup and the good news is that non of them are left behind. You can shoot 4K videos with either. So what is it important? because each one has a different field of view, either a wide-angle or telephoto and you can use either to record a 4K videos.

The Oppo R11 features a dual-camera setup. One camera uses the Sony IMX398 1/2.8" Exmor RS Stacked sensor with 1.12-micron pixel size, the same camera image sensor used in the Oppo R9s smartphone for the rear camera and an upgrade version of the IMX298. I've already seen images taken with this...

2x lossless zoom, not single focal length like with most mobile phone cameras

The OPPO R11 features a lossless zoom due to its 20MP wide-angle and 16MP telephoto lens. The camera can switch between the two focal lengths and therefore provide a 2x zoom without any loss of quality, but this is not a zoom lens, but just two separate lenses with different focal lengths.

One of the disadvantage of the Oppo R11 camera is that it's telephoto camera, the one with the 20MP, features a slower f/2.6 lens. The second normal 16MP camera has a f/1.7 aperture lens. The different is 1.226 stops between F1.7 and F2.6 considering the same shutter speed. It probably would be...

Plenty of RAM (4GB)

The Oppo R11 comes with a 4GB RAM, which is plenty of memory to support its strong multimedia capabilities. It's a mid-range phone, so this is why we don't see more RAM, OPPO has to cut in some corners to keep the phone's price in its mid-range segment.

The OPPO R11 comes with the latest mid-range SoC, the Snapdragon 660 SoC. This Qualcomm chipest was announced in May 2017 alongside the Snapdragon 630. Having the latest mid-range SoC in the Oppo R11 is obviously great news. We've already seen many mid-range phones that still carry older generation...

High resolution display for very sharp visuals

The OPPO R11 features a FHD high-resolution display. It might not be great for VR, but it provides with very sharp image for its 5.5-inch sized display. In my opinion there is no need for a higher resolution, just stresses the GPU and I'm not noticing any visible difference between FHD and 2K.

AMOLED display technology results in richer colors and deep blacks

I really love the AMOLED screen technology for its very rich saturated colors and deep blacks. This is my preferred display compared to IPS LCD ones. For me it results in better viewing experience, whether I browse the web, play games or watch videos.

Durable metal build

The OPPO R11 is made of metal, which makes the phone more durable and makes it feel more premium when holding it in your hand (compared to plastic).

Uninteresting design

There is nothing interesting and unique about the OPPO R11 design. It's kind of boring to see many Oppo devices that just look the same, except the dual rear camera of course, but it adds nothing inspiring to the design itself.

Runs on Android 7.1.1 (most recent release to date)

The OPPO R11 comes with ColorOS 3.1 which sits on top the latest version of Android OS, Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This means that there is no need to wait for an upgrade to enjoy the great features that this Android OS version offers, you get to enjoy them straight from day 1.
