Support 4K Ultra-HD video recording

The Honor 8 Pro can record videos at 4K Ultra HD resolution, which is currently the highest standard found on many HDTVs and computer displays. The file size is higher of course, but you get to save your precious memories in great details and image quality.

The honor 8 Pro comes with a 64GB built-in storage, and if this is not enough for you, you can always expand over the built-in storage by inserting a microSD card to the micro SD card slot. The phone supports cards up to 128GB capacity.

Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection

The front glass of the honor 8 Pro is Corning's Gorilla Glass 3. Not the latest version, but still a hardened glass provides better protection from breakage and scratches. I would use a protective glass anyway myself.

Available in three colors variations

The Honor 9 Pro isn't being offered just in Midnight Black, you can also choose between Platonum Gold or Navy Blue colors and have it in the color that best fit your style. It's great to have a color selection, while some phones are being offered only in a single color.

Durable phone, went through many reliability hardware tests

Huawei has presented a list of hardware reliability tests that the honor 8 Pro was tested again. The phone was designed to be very durable. This includes: pressure, dust, extreme temperature and other tests that were designed to make sure the phone is developed with the highest standards in mind.

Very slim body, only 7mm thick

The Huawei Honor 8 Pro has a very slim body, it's only 7mm thick. It gives the phone it's modern and sleek look. If you search for a thin smartphone, I'm sure you'll find the honor 8 very appealing, at least design wise.

Large phone, big top and bottom bezels

The honor 8 Pro is a relatively very large device considering its screen size. It's 157mm tall. The Galaxy S8 has a 5.8in display and it's 148.9mm tall and 9.4mm narrower as well. I'm starting to comprehend the advantages of phones with ultra-slim bezels after seeing this device.

Uninspiring design

It's not that the design is bad, but it's kind of boring to see the same old iPhone-like design everytime and it would have nice to see a different artistic touch to make the Honor 8 Pro stand up from the rest for a change. Not a lot is needed to make it happen, just small touches.

Hybrid SIM slot

I personally don't like the Hybrid SIM slot, because if you need to choose whether you want to use two SIM cards or a SIM card and a memory card, you can't have all three installed at the same time.
