Bokeh effect for the front camera as well

The Gionee A1 Plus doesn't have a dual-lens front camera, but it can still produce an artificial bokeh effect in 'Face Beauty' mode with various degrees of blur degrees using an aperture slider at the bottom of the camera app.

Soft-light front LED flash for more natural illumination

The Gionee A1 Plus features a soft-light front LED flash that is more diffused compared to a standard LED flash and therefore results in a more natural looking low-light pictures. Can also be used as a fill flash to light up a subject against a strong back light or eliminate harsh shadows.

One of the main benefits that the Gionee A1 Plus has over the Gionee A1 is in the rear. This phone sports a dual-lens camera which consists of two sensors, one is a 13MP Bayer sensor and the other one is a 5MP monochrome sensor. This dual-lens camera (or maybe it's better to say just dual-sensor...

The Gionee A1 Plus features a 20MP 1/2.8" sensor f/2.0 aperture lens selfie camera. Huge 6.0-inch display promotes fantastic viewing experience

The Gionee A1 Plus phablet sports a huge 6.0 display. This makes everything appear large and it's great for playing games, browsing the web, watching movies, almost everything that you enjoy doing on your phone, the experience will be greatly enhanced with that large display.

Not AMOLED as the Gionee A1

I love AMOLED displays for their punchy vivid colors and true blacks. It would have been nice to have an AMOLED display like the A1, but I assume Gionee had to cut some costs here and there, and the display panel was one of them.

Sleeker design using a 2.5D front curved glass

The Gionee A1Plus features a 2.5D slightly curved front glass that covers that entire front of the phone. This gives the phone a sleeker look in my opinion compared to a flat one.

Stereo speakers

The Gionee A1 Plus comes with dual stereo speakers and utilizes MaxxAudio for enhanced sound performance whether you are playing games, watching a movie, talking on the phone or listening to music. So great audio quality right off the bat.

Massive 4550mAh battery

Gionee took advantage of the big size of the A1 Plus and embedded a massive 4550mAh battery in it, which is essential for a phone with such a large display and its multimedia capabilities
