Low-cost chipset isn't suitable for graphics rich applications

The Micromax Vdeo 5 is using the Spreadrum SC9832 1.3GHz chipset, which is an entry-level chipset that is just not meant to run graphics rich applications. The same chipset in the Canvas Unite 4 Pro and Canvas Mega 2 Q426.

Very low RAM and storage space

The Micromax Vdeo comes with a very limited amount of RAM, only 1GB and very low 8GB of storage space. It might be enough for users that don't install a lot of apps and take a lot of pictures, but it definitely limits the phones's capabilities..

Doesn't come with the recent Android 7.0 Nougat

The Micromax Vdeo 5 doesn't come with the Android 7 Nougat, but the older Android 6.0 OS. The problem is that we don't know if and when an update comes that will update the OS to the latest version.

Large 5.5-inch screen

The Micromax Vdeo 5 comes with a very large 5.5-inch display. The resolution isn't high, only HD, but a large screen just makes things look larger and clearer, especially useful when browsing the web, watching movies or playing games.
