I don't know what's the reason it can't support higher capacities, but on lg.com it clearly stated "up to 32 GB", so just keep that in mind that you can use cards with higher capacities.

Only 9.6GB usable internal storage space

The LG Aristo has a very limited storage capacity. It comes with 16GB ROM, but only 9.8GB can be used by the user.

I think that the LG Aristo is a very nice looking phone. I really love the textured back with the fingerprint scanner and the circular camera compartment, The textured back should improve the grip of the phone, making it more comfortable to hold when talking for a long period of time or when playing...
