The Xplay 6 features a Full-pixel dual-core focusing technology, which we first seen in high-end DSLR cameras. If I remember right, Canon was the first to introduced this technology and it called it Dual-pixel AF, then it improved it with more improved variations, but the core technology remained...

Supports 4K resolution video recording

The Vivo Xplay 6 can record video clips at UHD / 4K resolution. If you have a 4K display at home, I'm certain that you'll enjoy this quality and appreciate having this feature on your phone.

The Vivo Xplay 6 comes with a dual-camera setup, the same setup that produces the beautiful Bokeh effect on the Vivo V5Plus. However, instead of having the dual-camera on the front of the phone, mostly useful for selfies, it's in the rear side (I personally prefer it like that for general...

The Vivo Xplay6 features a front selfie camera with a soft light LED flash. This provides your selfies with more soft illumination like the one used by professional photographers in studios. Obviously it lacks the illumination power, but the trick here works the same. Soft light is created when you...

The Vivo Xplay6 features a 4-axis OIS Optical image Stabilization mechanics for its main 12MP Sony IMX362 camera. The 4-axis stabilization goes well with the 1.4 micron pixel size and the fast f/1.7 aperture to promote even better low-light performance. The 4-axis OIS allows user to shoot pictures...

The vivo XPlay6 main camera features a fast f/1.7 aperture lens. The lower the f-number, the larger the hole in which light pass through the lens towards the camera image sensor. F1.7 aperture is considered to be a very fast aperture and is one of the main reasons that the XPlay6 camera can perform...

128GB built-in storage space

The Xplay6 comes with a huge 128GB onboard storage space. Although it lacks a microSD slot, with such a high amount of storage by default, you probably won't even need one.

Comes with the very powerful Snapdragon 820 chip

The Vivo Xplay6 comes with a very powerful chipset with powerful CPU and GPU. Although it's not as powerful as the Snapdragon 835, it can run everything you through at it smoothly and without a hitch.

6GB RAM

The Xplay 6 features tons of RAM, 6GB is way more than enough for supporting heavy multi-tasking and every app and 3D game out there.

The vivo XPlay6 is a gorgeous looking phone. I know that almost all phone looks quite the same, but you can't deny that those small design changes do make a difference. When you look at the XPlay 6 you really admire its design. One of the most noticeable design features is the dual curved edge...

Limited color variations, only Gold and Rose Gold

Vivo might add more colors in the future, but as of the time of writing, there are only two color variants available for this phone, in Gold and Rose Gold. It would have been nice to a have dark color as well and more variations.

Doesn't come with Android 7.0

It's disappointing to see a new phone coming at the end of 2016 that doesn't run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Now we need to wait until it gets Android 7.0, and that can take some time.

The Vivo Xplay 6 the last time I checked on 1/26/2017 cost CNY 4,498 (approx. Rs. 44,500 in India or $654 USD). So although when you read this the price might have gone down, but the price of this phone is relatively high. It's a high-end device and it was prices accordingly by Vivo. That being...
