The "glass shade" covering the top third part of the Google Pixel phone on its back easily catches up fingerprints. Quite ironic because this is exactly where the fingerprint sensor is, but I would have preferred a matte finish in which fingerprints aren't visible. Google added this top part to give the phone it's own unique looks and personality. I can understand that you can't really do much to the phone design if you want to keep is slim and slick, but the decision to add a shiny glass at a partial part of the back of the phone looks odd to me. Glass can really add to the phone look and give it a prestige look (like the Jet Black finish in the iPhone 7), but the high-gloss finish on the Pixel just makes the whole design look inconsistent and fragmented, compared to the fluid design of the iPhone 7 for example.
I just wanted to note that it might be more visible on the Really Blue compared to other colors.
