Supports real time simulated bokeh effect

The phone comes with a real time bokeh effect, which can produce selfie/portrait images with very prominent back defocus effect, which makes the subject appear in focus and help blur out distracting background elements.

Very high-resolution selfie camera for very detailed selfies

Not that I am a big fan of high-megapixel cameras in phones, but I'm sure that when shooting in daylight, you are going to get very detailed photos out of that front-facing camera.

Sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for improved security measures

The Micromax Canvas infinity boasts a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, which helps add an added layer of security by using advanced biometric algorithms to prevent unauthorized access to your phone's data and also make it easier to unlock it using just your finger.

Large 5.7-inch display

The Micromax Canvas Infinity features a huge 5.7-inch display, which provides excellent viewing experience for viewing photos, playing games, browsing the web or watching videos. Everything appears large and crystal clear in front of your eyes.

Low resolution for a 5.7-inch screen

One of the caveats of that beautiful Full Vision display is its low 720 by 1440 pixel resolution, which translates to very poor ~!279 ppi pixel density. You do get to have that amazing screen, but the resolution doesn't match those of the LG G6 and Galaxy S8, just so you know.

I guess Micromax had to cut some corners somewhere and unfortunately the Micromax Canvas Infinity doesn't come with a Gorilla Glass hardened glass protection for its front display, it's just a 2.5D curved glass. This is certainly quite disappointing because as you know, that Gorilla Glass type of...

Comfortable to hold and operate in the hand

Considering its 5.7-inch display, the Canvas infinity was design to be comfortable to hold and operate in one hand due to its ultra slim side bezels and 18:9 wide and tall display. This is one of the advantages of having a 18:9 aspect ratio screen with slim bezels.

Features a dedicated microSD card slot

The Canvas infinity comes with a dedicated microSD card slot, which first, allows you to extend over the built-in mass storage of the device, and second, it's a dedicated slot, so there is no need to choose between a second SIM card or memory card (it's a dual micro-SIM phone).

Only 2900 mAh battery

Very disappointed to see a 5.7-inch phone like the Canvas infinity and regardless of its power-saving capabilities, coming with sub-3000mAh battery. We've seen smaller phones with 4000mAh or even more, and there is no justification for a large phone to have such limited capacity.

The Micromax Canvas infinity comes with the same type of 18:9 aspect ratio Full Vision display that we've seen on other high-end devices like the Samsung Galaxy S8 (slightly difference aspect ratio) and the LG G6. The phone is prices at just Rs. 9999 (approx. $155 USD). This is a great bargain for...
